Description
Kindred was presented in May 2023 at ESB’s new sustainable headquarters on Fitzwilliam Street in Dublin, Ireland as part of Dublin Dance Festival.

The piece was a collaboration between Lightscape & Liz Roche Dance Company. The aim of the work was to invite audiences to connect with the intensity of nature and to consider our relationship with ourselves, one another and the planet.

The installation took the form of several LED plinths and totems placed in around the garden and the audience was invited to observe the work from a balcony which overlooked the installation.

The content was a fusion of dance, motion design, AI and music.

The project ran for 10 days from 09:00 - 19:00 and was commissioned by Dublin Dance Festival and the ESB Brighter Future Arts Fund in partnership with Business to Arts.
