Part of the R&D phase for a private event in 2024, Kinetic Bloom explored how guests could trigger generative content through simple movement. The aim was to create a welcoming, responsive moment at the entrance to the space—one that not only tracked each guest’s position but also generated unique visual reactions each time someone walked past.

Using a LiDAR sensor to locate each person in the space, we fed this positional data into a real-time render engine. The result was a particle system that reacted instantly to movement—producing bursts, flows, and sequences inspired by ideas of birth and evolution. No two reactions were alike.

Displayed on a LED screen using a real-time render engine, Kinetic Bloom offered a living, responsive animation that changed from moment to moment, shaped entirely by the presence and pace of the people moving through it.
