Re-turn, Ireland's Deposit Return Scheme, is an initiative that encourages consumers to return empty drink containers to shops and supermarkets, significantly contributing to the country's recycling targets. To commemorate the significant milestone of one billion bottles returned in Ireland, we were tasked with creating two CGI pieces, from storyboard to final execution.

The first video is a full CGI animation designed to visually represent the immense scale of this achievement. We meticulously recreated the bottles and a digital world to illustrate that one billion bottles, when laid end-to-end, could circle the globe 4.7 times. Our visual approach blended realistic rendering with playful animation, all while adhering to the brand's established color palette.

For the second video, we developed "Faux Out-of-Home" (FOOH) content. This involved selecting multiple Irish locations and integrating our modeled bottles and cans, depicted as if traveling across Ireland alongside a digital airplane. The animation culminates with all the bottles being delivered to a deposit machine. As with the first CGI animation, the render maintained a realistic look, but the animation was kept loose and ludic. We then composited all elements, ensuring a cohesive final product through careful color correction and VFX compositing.
