‍Over several years, we’ve created the full motion graphics package for the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards, for both live broadcast and in-venue screens.
The goal was to build a cohesive graphics system that could be used across live broadcast, RTÉ Player, venue screens, and social channels. The package included motion graphics for nominee profiles, category intros, winner announcements, and special segments such as Hall of Fame inductions.

Staying true to the RTÉ Folk Awards visual identity, we animated native Irish flora and fauna to evoke the spirit of Ireland’s folk tradition. Imagery of nominees and winners were treated to maintain consistency across formats and years. The design was refreshed in 2025, giving the graphics a subtle update while staying rooted in the show’s visual language.

The work contributed to the overall look and feel of the show, tying into set design and helping to celebrate and elevate this showcase of Ireland’s rich folk and traditional music scene. The graphics have featured across multiple years of broadcasts, online streams, and live events.
