Description
We were commissioned to create custom visuals for a series of Villagers shows in2019. The design process focused on deconstructing the album artwork into individual layers and building a library of motion loops that could be performed live in response to the music.

The setlist moved between acoustic and electronic tracks, so we developed two distinct visual treatments to reflect these shifts in tone and energy. Using timecode for playback on the electrocnic tracks, we synced the visuals tightly to the music, creating a more immersive and rhythmically driven experience for the audience.
